I happen to walk past the outside display of vegetable 6-pack potters and
thought others would appreciate a note.
The plants all look healthy and vibrant (all are a good green and strong
stalks, nothing yellowish or broken), there's a good selection (unlike the
last two years where the choices were "Pepper" and "Not Pepper"), and the
price is darned good (US$1.99 each).
I snagged a dozen (serano, jalapeno, green bell, eggplant, beefsteak, and
roma) and plan on grabbing more later this coming week. The 4" potted herbs
weren't so good-looking but at 99ยข each, I expect a little extra care might
be needed to assist them to maturity.
Happy potting!
