Squirrel story...

I just moved to the Bay Area and take weekly trips to San Francisco. I
love to go to Golden Gate Park, and took along some sunflower seeds and
peanuts to feed to the squirrels in the Botanical Gardens.

That was a mistake, the squirrels are not only tame but also brazen and
actually leaped on me when they realized I had food. I soon had a mob,
an actual street gang of squirrels, chasing me down the path demanding
I give them more food. I wouldn't have been surprised if one of the
squirrels knifed me to get ahold of my stash of peanuts.

I still leave food out for the few squirrels I've seen in my neighborhood,
they are still fairly wild and run as soon as they see me. Maybe it's
best I just leave the food out and not personally feed them so they won't
associate humans with the seeds that miraculously appear.

God, this made me laugh. You should sell tickets. I would definitely pay
to see squirrel street gangs in action.

That was a really funny story. The squirrels at the "Singing Tower" in Florida will also mob you. The specifically forbid anyone from feeding their squirrels.
